We were approached by Collette Tuohy from Mayo AC to help out with the stewarding for the 5k run around the streets of Castlebar - On a wet and windy night 4 of our hardy volunteers braved the wind and the rain to marshall various positions around the town - again thanks to all concerned

We are back in the shed - this presented a great opportunity for us to tidy up the place. Members of the shed got together and cleaned the kitchen, meeting room and workshop. We gathered any metal that was of no use to us and brought it to the local recycling dealer in Castlebar - great job done by all concerned

Work has started on updating all the electrics in Castlebar Men's Shed. Because there is so much work to be completed, the electrician has asked us to vacate the building while work is being carried out, so it looks like we will be on holidays for a week or so !!

Volunteers from Castlebar Men's Shed helped with the marshalling for "The General"which took place in Market Square from 3.30 pm. We also helped with the marshalling for the Fireworks display which took place in Lough Lannagh at 11pm. Great fireworks display.
Not a good idea to use flash photography when people are wearing Hi Viz jackets!!!
